The National Property Data (NPD) add-on shows property ownership and sales history, where available, right inside Stash. You can try it free for seven days before you decide.
Before you start
- A Stash account. Trials are requested from the Billing Centre, which isn’t available in the Stash mobile app, so use a computer.
- Your account email address. Your trial login is sent there.
Request your free trial
- Open the Billing Centre. Click your avatar at the top right and choose Billing Centre.
- Find National Property Data. Scroll to My Plugins. Click ACTIVATE next to National Property Data.
- Choose the free trial. In the window that opens, click I would like a free trial.
- Agree to the terms. Tick I agree for details to be shared with NPD and I agree with the terms and conditions, then click Request your free trial.
National Property Data now shows PENDING. NPD emails you a username and password, usually within 24 hours.
Connect your NPD login
- Open any property. Scroll to the National Property Data card and click the NPD icon at the top right of the card.
- Choose I have a login to NPD. Enter the Username and Password from your NPD email.
- Agree and connect. Tick I agree with the terms and conditions, then click Connect to National Property data.
When you see “Your National Property Data login is now connected to your account”, click Close window. The label changes to FREE TRIAL, and owner names and sales history show on property pages, where available. See owner details.
Skip the trial. Click ACTIVATE, choose I have a login to NPD and enter your existing details.
When your trial ends
When the trial is over, property pages say Your trial has expired. To keep access, click the NPD icon on the card and choose I would like to purchase access. You can pick access inside Stash only, or access that also includes the NPD site, then pay through the checkout. The trial form notes that access after your trial costs $90 + GST. Check the current price in the Billing Centre before you buy.
Troubleshooting
My status still says PENDING
Requests can take up to 24 hours. Check your inbox and junk folder for the NPD email, then connect your login as above. If nothing arrives, contact us.
It says my authentication details are incorrect
Your NPD username or password may have changed. Click the icon on the National Property Data card and enter your details again.
I can’t see the card on a property
The National Property Data card isn’t available for properties in Tasmania or the ACT.
