Stash MCP connects Claude to live Stash data, so you can ask Claude to run a CMA, check planning risks or shortlist suburbs and get answers built on real property records. Setup takes about five minutes and needs no code.
Before you start
- An active Stash subscription. Stash MCP is free for subscribers, with some limits.
- A Claude account. A paid Claude plan is needed to add custom connectors.
- Your Stash login details.
Connect Stash to Claude
- Open Claude’s connector settings. In Claude, go to Settings, then Connectors.
- Add a custom connector. Choose Add custom connector, name it Stash and paste in this server URL:
https://mcp-api.stashproperty.net - Sign in to Stash. Claude opens a Stash login window. Sign in and approve access.
- Install the Stash skills. Add the Stash Skills pack (CMA, Feasibility, Planning and Find Suburbs) so Claude follows the same workflows our team uses.
- Test it. Start a new chat and try a prompt, such as the examples below.
Turn the Stash connector on in each new chat from the tools menu if Claude doesn’t seem to use it.
Prompts to try
- “Run a quick CMA on 27 Wattlebird Crescent, Coorparoo. Flag anything I should check before making an offer.”
- “Assess planning risks for this property before we commit to a feasibility.”
- “Find suburbs within 15km of Brisbane CBD where units still look undervalued relative to houses.”
Other AI tools
Stash MCP also works with ChatGPT and Cursor, using the same server URL. Claude is recommended for the fullest multi-step workflows.
You can review or remove AI access at any time from Profile → AI access in Stash.
Troubleshooting
Claude says it can’t reach Stash
Check the server URL has no spaces or trailing characters, then remove the connector and add it again.
I see a subscription message
Stash MCP needs an active Stash plan. See plans or contact us if you think your plan should include it.
